This website is operated by M20 Capital Ltd (RC 8568978), No 2, Alhaji Kanke, Off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. M20 Capital is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in it at info@m20invest.com.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us through the forms on this website:
- Waitlist: your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, and whether you are interested in conventional or halal portfolios.
- Consultation requests: your name, organisation, email address, phone number, the topic of your enquiry, an approximate investable amount if you choose to share it, your preferred meeting format and any message you write.
- Market brief: your email address.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, your area of interest, the role you are applying for, a link to your CV or LinkedIn profile and any message you write.
This website does not ask for your BVN, NIN, bank details or identity documents. If you later become a client, we collect those through our secure onboarding process, which has its own privacy terms.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To tell you when M20 Robo opens and how to join.
- To send the market brief you subscribed to.
- To consider you for roles at M20 if you apply for a job.
- To understand which of our services people are interested in, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our legal basis
We process your information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. For the waitlist and the market brief, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For consultation requests, we rely on the steps needed to respond to you before any client relationship begins, and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. For job applications, we rely on the steps needed to consider you for employment.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers who help us run this website and respond to you, such as our website host, our form processing provider and our email provider. They may only use it on our instructions. We will also disclose information where the law or a regulator requires it.
Some of these providers may store information outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take the steps the Nigeria Data Protection Act requires to keep it protected.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Waitlist and market brief details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Consultation requests that do not lead to a client relationship are deleted once they are no longer needed. Job applications are kept while we consider you for current and suitable future roles, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your device's IP address when you visit.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send your information to you or another organisation in a portable format
You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@m20invest.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
